Sei que ultimamente não tenho posto aqui nada de jeito.
Entre um trabalho que retira-me imenso tempo, 3 bandas e um projecto pendente, ainda tenho de encontrar tempo para a família, e a rede social.
Eu sei que pode parecer uma piada mas é verdade.
Quando fiquei dois dias doente e não vi a minha caixa de correio electrónico, e depois tive de ler 90 e-mails (sem contar com publicidade, newsletters e extensões do myspace ou do facebook).
Hoje pediram-me no twitter que escrevesse uma crónica sobre a sociedade actual e a minha vida religiosa. Bem, eu respondi com menos de 140 caracteres, da forma mais educada possível, dizendo que não me sentiria a altura para faze-lo. No entanto acho que estou a faze-lo agora, de uma forma informal e desorganizada.
Em primeiro acho que não conheço bem a sociedade actual a ponto de poder falar sobre a mesma. Tudo o que sei são: gripes, falências, iPods que explodem e afins. O que nos mostram nos telejornais. O resto na minha opinião, são tribos urbanas que emergem a toda a hora, micro-tendencias, pensamentos que divergem cada vez mais. Vejo cada vez mais teorias criadas por pessoas perdidas à procura de respostas e mais respostas que por sua vez geram mais questões.
Em segundo, acho que a única componente religiosa na minha vida é o facto de frequentar uma igreja, porque de resto não considero religião. Eu acredito que tenho um relacionamento com Deus, pois tenho a oportunidade de me comunicar, viver e aprender com Ele.
À medida que O vou conhecendo apercebo-me que ele não exige nem metade das coisas que a sociedade impõe. Muitos pensam que ser cristão é uma lista de proibições, mas eu acho que é o contrário, é uma lista de tarefas. Eu posso falar apenas da minha experiencia, até agora Deus nunca me proibiu de fazer nada, eu apenas escolhi abdicar de algumas coisas, como atitudes, acções, etc. Ao guiar-me pela bíblia, encontro resposta para muitas questões colocadas por todos. Eu aprendi que posso fazer tudo mas nem tudo me convém. Nem sempre a nossa vontade é a melhor para nós, e porque não fazer a vontade de Deus? Sendo que Ele é omnisciente, de certeza que sabe o que é o melhor para nós. Muitas vezes custa-nos imenso ver as coisas a acontecer de uma maneira completamente alheia à nossa vontade, mas no final vemos sempre que tudo correu bem e valeu a pena. Muitas vezes mais vale deixar de fazer ou dizer certas coisas não só porque poderão ser nocivas para nós mas também para os que nos rodeiam. Enfim, “Todas as coisas me são licitas, mas nem todas me convêm” (I CORÍNTIOS 6.12).
Deus não gosta do pecado, mas ama o pecador. Ele não vai deixar de gostar de nós porque cometemos erros, afinal Ele criou-nos com livre arbítrio, somos livres de tomar as decisões que quisermos, mas ao menos antes de pensarem em qualquer religião pensem em todas as consequências das vossas escolhas.
Espero que tenham extraído alguma coisa positiva e interessante no meio desta confusão de ideias e pensamentos.

I know that lately I haven’t post anything here at all.
Between a job that takes me lots of time, 3 bands and a project before, still have to find time for family and social network.
I know that may seem like a joke but is true.
When I was sick for two days and didn’t see my inbox, I had to read 90 emails (not including advertising, newsletters and updates from myspace or facebook).
Today a friend of mine asked me on Twitter to write a chronicle of modern society and my religious life. Well, I answered with less than 140 characters, as politely as possible, saying that I wouldn’t be able to do it properly. However I think I'm doing it now, in an informal and disorganized way.
First I do not think I know the current society that. All I know its: the flu, bankruptcies, exploding iPods and stuff like thar. What we see in TV news. The rest in my opinion, are urban tribes that emerge all the time, micro-trends, thoughts that diverge more and more. I see more and more theories created by people lost looking for answers and more answers that in turn generate more questions.
Secondly, I think the only religious component in my life is the fact that I go to a church, because I don’t think the rest its about a religion. I believe I have a relationship with God, because I have the opportunity to communicate, live and learn with Him.
As I know Him, I realize that He does not require or half the things that society imposes. Many people think that being Christian is a list of prohibitions, but I think it's the opposite, is a list of tasks. I can only speak from my experience, so far God never forbade me from doing anything, I just chose to give up some things, like attitudes, actions, etc...
By guiding me in the Bible, I find answers to many questions raised by all. I learned that I can do everything but not all suit me. Not always our desire is best for us, and why not do the will of God? He is omniscient, surely knows what is best for us. Often it costs us a lot to see things happen in a way completely alien to our will, but in the end we always see that everything went well and worth it. Often it is better not to do or say certain things not only because they may be harmful to us but also for those around us. Anyway, "All things are lawful, but not all suit me" (I Corinthians 6:12).
God does not like the sin but He loves the sinner. He's not going to like less just because we make mistakes, after all He created us with free will, we are free to make decisions that we want, but at least before you think of any religion think of all the consequences of your choices.
I hope you have extracted something positive and interesting in that confusion of ideas and thoughts.
