Hoje eu acordei a pensar imenso nisto.

Já pensaram que esse amor é expressado através de nós?

Vou dar um exemplo muito prático: Imaginem que alguém faz algo que magoa-vos. O que fazem perante a situação? Conheço pessoas que vingam-se ou simplesmente deixam de relacionar-se com a pessoa que cometeu um erro, dessa maneira arruína-se uma relação que poderia ser muito valiosa. Por outro lado há sempre quem perdoe, e esse perdão é p tal “amor que cobre todos os pecados”.

Eu comecei a viver assim, mas onde é que fui aprender a amar dessa maneira? Sinceramente, não quero que pareça um cliché, mas a verdade é que só vi esse amor em Deus e em Cristo.

Posso partir pelo simples principio de que Deus deu o seu único filho para hoje nós possamos ter a vida eterna. E Jesus por sua vez sofreu imenso por todos nós. Ambos tinham poder para acabar com aquilo tudo, mas mesmo assim foram até ao fim e no final disto tudo ainda deixam-nos ser livres para fazer as nossas escolhas para a nossa vida.

Podem não acreditar, mas pelo menos admitam que há factos que comprovam que a vida de Cristo e o seu impacto na história da humanidade foi realmente verídico, nem que seja a simples contagem dos dias.

Enfim…

Sei que muitas vezes custa perdoar e começar de novo, eu já fui magoado por pessoas muito próximas e foi difícil deixar tudo para trás e perdoar, mas com algum esforço consegui.

Agora quando olho para trás sinto que só fiz uma pequena parte. Pensem: Custa um pouco, mas se todos nós fizermos a nossa pequena parte, estaremos a contribuir para um mundo muito melhor.

Há muitas figuras da história humana, que são referencias muito relevantes para a sociedade actual como Martin Luther King, Aung San Suu Kyi, Nelson Mandela, Al Gore, Barack Obama, Bono Vox, entre muitos outros. Respeito e admiro imenso todos estes, mas não tenham medo de ver como foi a história de Jesus e tentar aprender alguma coisa dali. Foi a história de alguém que sentiu tudo o que sentimos e mostrou-nos que há esperança para todos nós e mão existem impossíveis.

Today I woke up thinking a lot about it.

Did you ever think that this kind of love is expressed through us?

I will give a very practical example: Imagine that someone does something that hurts you a lot. What do you do about the situation? I know people who take revenge or simply fail to relate to the person who committed an error, thus ruining a relationship that could be very valuable. On the other hand there are always those who forgive, and forgiveness that is that "love covers all sins."

I began to live like this, but where did I learn to love this way? Frankly, I do not want to sound like a cliché, but the truth is that I only saw that love in God and Christ.

Can I leave the simple principle that God gave his only son for today we can have eternal life. And Jesus suffered badly for us all. Both had the power to end it all, but they were to the end and at the end of it all, and in the end we are free to make our choices for our lives.

You may not believe it, but at least admit that there are facts to show that the life of Christ and his impact on history was really true, you can simply look at the way we count the days.

Anyway ...

I know that sometimes it's really hard to forgive and start all over, I've been hurt by people that I love and it was hard to leave everything behind and forgive, but with some effort I did it.

Now when I look back I feel that only a small part. Think: It costs, but if we all do our small part, we will contribute to a much better world.

There are many figures in human history that are very relevant references to today's society such as Martin Luther King, Aung San Suu Kyi, Nelson Mandela, Al Gore, Barack Obama, Bono, among many others. I respect and admire all them, but don't be afraid to see how was the story of Jesus and try to learn something there. It was the story of someone who felt what we feel and showed us that there is hope for us all and nothing is impossible.

Pramore - Brand New Eyes

Como já devem saber eu sou um grande fã dos paramore (desde 2004).

No entanto eu em menos de uma semana fiquei logo viciado no terceiro album de originais da banda "Brand New Eyes".

É fantástico!

O som mudou imenso, existe uma enorme maturidade presente nas letras. Adoro principalmente quando a Haley, expressa o que sente quando as pessoas sentem que têm o direito de julgar outras ou começam a distorcer o amor de Deus e aquilo que Ele é.

Adoro o facto de conseguirem fazer canções boas e marcantes. Mas também admiro-os porque nunca abdicaram da sua fé e no entanto não andam por ai a pregar. Os paramore mostram-me que o amor é universal, independentemente de reconhecermos a sua origem.

Mas isso não é o mais importante.

Este disco tem musicas para todas as ocasiões, sejam divertidas ou apenas para fazer-nos pensar.

Enfim nem tenho palavras decentes para descreve-lo.

Para quem gosta de rock, indie, punk e pop está aqui o album perfeito!

Todas as musicas valem a pena, das mais rápidas às acústicas.

Recomendo a todos!

As you may already know I'm a huge fan of paramore (since 2004).

However I in less than a week I was soon hooked on the third album of the band "Brand New Eyes".

Fantastic!

The sound has changed a lot, there is a huge maturity in the lyrics. I love especially when Haley, express what she feels when people think that have the right to judge others or begin to distort the love of God and what He is.

I love the fact that they can make great and remarkable songs. But I also admire them because they never renounced their faith and don't walk around preaching to everyone. Paramore show me that love is universal, whether we recognize its origin.

But this is not the most important.

This album has songs for all occasions, fun sons or songs to make us think.

Anyway, I have no decent words to describe it.

For those who like rock, indie, punk and pop here is the perfect album!

All songs are worth, the faster and the acoustics.

I recommend it to everybody!

It's Dangerous Business Walking Out Your Front Door

Esta banda contribuiu imenso para a mudança da minha vida (como já escrevi num post anterior).

Lembro-me da primeira vez que vi este video em meados de 2005. Encontrei-o por acaso no youtube entre toda a azafama provocada pela moda "emo" existente na altura.

Mas não é isso que interessa, para alem de ter ouvido a canção mais inovadora da época com uma letra penetrante senti algo diferente em toda a melodia, presença, postura e atitude da banda. Eu ouvi a canção cerca de dez vezes seguidas, e pensei para mim mesmo "estes gajos têm de ser cristãos". xD

Após uma longa pesquisa descobri que afinal são mesmo cristãos.

Foi dificil encontrar uma fonte que me desse certeza.

Enfim.

Continuei a seguir a banda ao longo dos anos e ainda hoje os oiço com muita frequencia.

São uma das minhas bandas favoritas, não por terem criado um estilo, não apenas pelas musicas geniais, mas porque mecheram com a minha vida de uma forma muito positiva.

Enfim, só quero que saibam que Deus também usa o hardcore xD

This band has contributeda lot to the change in my life (as I wrote in a previous post).

I remember the first time I saw this video in mid-2005. I found it by chance on youtube of all the fanfare caused by fashion "emo" that existiet at the time.

But this is not what matters, and also, having heard the song most innovative of the time with a letter penetrating felt something different in the whole melody, presence, posture and attitude of the band. I heard the song about ten times in a row, and I thought to myself "these guys must be Christians." xD

After a long search I found that even after all they are Christians.

It was hard to find a source that gave me certain.

Anyway.

I continued to follow the band over the years and even today I hear very often.

They are one of my favorite bands, not because they created a style, not only by the music genius, but because it fuses with my life in a positive way.

Anyway, I just want you to know that God also uses the hardcore xD

The Letter Black

Quem me conhece sabe que geralmente não oiço musica neste estilo (apesar de tocar numa banda com uma sonoridade parecida), mas esta banda surpreendeu-me bastante.

Não só pela canção tão bem escrita e o equilíbrio do som, mas principalmente pela letra da canção. Acho que identifico-me com cada verso.

Sim é uma banda previsivelmente cristã, e segundo a minha pesquisa eles usam isso como rotulo (infelizmente). Acho que antes de saber disso deveria ter evidencia-lo pela musica.
Mas no entanto a musica é boa!

Anyone who knows me, already knows that usually do not hear music in this style (despite playing in a band with a sound like that), but this band surprised me a lot.

Not only the song so well written and the balanced sound, but mainly for the lyrics. I think I identify with each verse.

Yes it is a Christian band predictably, and according to my research they use it as a label (unfortunately). I think that before you know, it should have shows it for music.

But though the music is good!
